Arc 1 - Genesis

Chapter 1 - The Beginning

IN THE BEGINNING

In the beginning, there was Nothing. Then He came from Nothing. He was the Darkness, and filled the vastness of Nothing. No time, no plains of existence; just the Darkness, unlit, and empty. As His sentience grew, so did his emotions. The emotion of loneliness, and fear plagued His mind. They brought Him to the brink of madness. Then after what felt like an eternity wallowed in self pity and pain, another being came from Nothing. She was the Light, and bright peace to His mind. Together, alone in the vastness of Nothing, they waded. Over time they both grew powerful in Majik, the force of all that is, born from Nothing. They created the stars and illuminated Nothing, setting the stage for their greatest creation, their children. They created 9 sentient beings and homes for them, homes that filled Nothing to its very limits. This was the beginning of all within the universe, and all that shall be.

THE CHILDREN OF THE CREATORS

The 9 children of the creators quickly adapted to their homes. In some cases, becoming one with their homes. The Majik that flowed to and fro came from their homes and from The Creators. They became powerful over years of adaptation to their homes, creating their own flora and fauna. Like all children, they learned from each other and created their own vision of the world around them. 

THE BIRTH OF MAN

After years of watching the children, He noticed that Earthe had created a new being, one that had its own sentience and was humanoid in nature, like the children themselves. It seemed to learn and adapt to their environment like the children, but was slower at it. Years pass and the rest of the children had created their own vision of the new plaything of Earthe known as “HuMan”. Enraged at his children for all created beings with sentience he stormed their homes and began a war on Man. The children that could, quickly fled to the Light. She was torn that He felt such hatred for a wonderful creation of their children.

DARKNESS BEGONE!

She studied the template of Earthe and combined it with Majik and a Dove, the first Bird created between Earthe and the Light. The Darkness was close, ready to end the lives of everyone that disobeyed him. He was quick, only a blur as he burst into their hiding spot. He went to strike down Earthe but was halted by Gabriel, the First Angel. Gabriel waved his hand and Nahaliel came from Nothing, and assisted Gabriel in defending against the Darkness. The Light told Gabriel to get Her children out of danger while She and Nahaliel fought off the Darkness. As Gabriel takes the children, he hands Nahaliel a key, which he uses to Cast a sword from Nothing. The battle was mighty and fierce, but Nahaliel was down, and close to death. She couldn't take anymore, and began to Cast a Majik Spell to remove The Darkness from the world they created. It caused Her such pain to do such a deed but He needed to stop. With a final gasp she muttered the last part of the spell as both her and the Darkness began to vanish into Nothing. 

THE AFTERMATH

Gabriel came back for Nahaliel and was sorrowful that his Creator was gone from that plane. Together they grieved as they limped off into the night. The children that survived went back to their homes and started the reconstruction of their worlds. Earthe was baffled that her father was so violent and angry toward her favorite creation besides the tree. She vowed to never be like Him and to protect her Home with all of her being, and in doing so, became one with her world. Everything slowly became peaceful, and at ease.
